Asma Saed

Co-founder

Asma was raised in Hargeisa and has a background in Finance and Project Management, having worked in research and development for 10 years before co-founding Sarreya and Gobanimo FC. She loves sports and is a community motivator for women's participation, providing support to women and girls looking to improve their health, nutrition and physical activity levels.
Savannah Simons, Co-founder of Sarreya

Savannah Simons

Co-founder

Savannah spent over 3 years living in Hargeisa, where she worked for a local organisation in research, strategy and project management before co-founding Sarreya and Gobanimo FC. She has a background in public health research, behavioural science, community action and sport. Savannah is a former top 100 GB tennis player and multi-sport coach with experience organising and supporting major sporting events.
Noura Ahmed, Football Manager at Sarreya

Noura Ahmed

Football Manager

Noura was born and raised in Hargeisa and holds a Masters in Public Health from the University of Hargeisa. She is now the Football Manager of our Gobanimo FC teams and also works as a Fitness Trainer with our partners LionsGate Gym, helping women and girls of all ages to get active.
Flora Ramsay, Research Manager at Sarreya

Flora Ramsay

Research Manager

Flora is from London and previously lived in Hargeisa while working with a local research and development organisation. During this time she supported the development of Gobanimo FC. She has since kept up her love of football and plays for a women's team in London. Flora has worked with the Red Cross and Save the Children and now heads up Sarreya's research department, while also supporting the organisation's wider development.
Mohamoud Elmi, HR and Finance Manager at Sarreya

Mohamoud Elmi

HR and Finance Manager

Mohamoud is an experienced HR and Finance Manager who has worked for a variety of social, humanitarian development and environmental organisations. He is an avid football fan and supporter of women's sport.
